Al-Marsad newspaper: The poet “Turki Al-Mizani” talked regarding the details of his dispute with the poet “Safar Al-Daghilbi” that has been going on for years.
He said, through the “Yahla” program on the “Rotana Khaleejia” channel, that he had all respect for “Al-Daghilbi”, adding that his refusal to be a poet indicates his respect for himself, the poet and his tribe.
He added, “Sometimes, the poet’s style does not agree with you, and confronting a poet for half an hour may drag you into things that you are indispensable, and you lose a large part of your audience. I lose a person and I do not lose a tribe.”
Al-Mizani stressed that the dispute has a tribal dimension, and our confrontation may cause us both to lose a lot, pointing out that when the methods become close to each other, the dispute may end tomorrow, and with time everything is different.
He explained that he did not contact “Al-Dhailbi”, but he sent him a message and we confronted and met, but we are colleagues in everything except at the microphone.
