The results of the general baccalaureate, June session, made public last Thursday, July 21, once again rank the Pointe-Noire department last nationally, with a 28.97% success rate.

Bellarmin Iloki, general president of the jury, unveiled the ranking of the departments in terms of the admission rate to the general baccalaureate, June 2022 session. In the Pointe-Noire department, 28,267 candidates were registered, 28,164 present against 8,159 admitted. Statistics show that Pointe-Noire is at the bottom of the table with a success rate of 28.97%. This large locality of our country occupies the 12th place out of 12. For the second consecutive year, Pointe-Noire is ranked last in the ranking of the best departments in Congo. She had obtained a similar score during the 2021 session, with 28.40%. This ranking is dominated by Cuvette-Ouest (82.66%), followed by Kouilou department (76.72%) and the Sangha (67.66%). Brazzaville, for its part, achieved an admission rate of 40.94% behind Likouala (59.62%), Plateaux (56.22%), Bouenza (52.6%) and Pool (47.42%). %). Overall, out of the 93,874 candidates present, 36,995 were admitted. This year, the success rate for the general baccalaureate is 39.41%, slightly higher than that of 2021, estimated at 35.74%.
