Abu Dhabi: UAE has the most powerful passport in the world. In the new report of the Passport Power Index, the UAE passport has been ranked first. The UAE passport came first, beating the passports of Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands.
With a UAE passport, you can easily visit 180 countries in the world. Of these, 131 countries can be entered without obtaining a visa in advance and 49 countries through an on-arrival visa. The Netherlands topped the list for many years. This time, Germany, Spain, France, Italy and the Netherlands, which ranked second, can enter 178 countries without obtaining a visa in advance and through an on-arrival visa.
Sweden, Finland, Luxembourg, Austria and Switzerland occupy the third position. With the passports of these countries, 177 countries can be entered through visa-on-arrival without having to obtain a visa in advance. India ranks 66th among countries with strong passports. Gulf countries such as Qatar are at 44th place, Kuwait at 45th place, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain at 47th place and Oman at 49th place. Syria ranks last on the Passport Power Index. Just ahead of Syria are Afghanistan and Iraq.
