The President of the Asian Sambo Federation Almjun Mulayev (from Uzbekistan) arrived in Lebanon a few days before the organization of the Lebanese Judo Federation and its branches the Asian and Oceania Championships in Sambo and Sambo Contact on June 2, 3 and 4 next in the sports hall of Fouad Chehab Complex in Jounieh under the patronage of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. George Kallas . He was received at the airport by the President of the Lebanese Judo Federation, the Secretary General of the Asian Sambo Federation, Francois Saadeh, and the Tournament Director, Junior Saadeh. Ras Haram, the Judo Federation in Lebanon, welcomed the great sports guest to accompany the continental championship in Sambo, which is intended for all age groups, adults and juniors for males and females, which will be held for the first time in Lebanon with the participation of more than 500 male and female players from 21 countries. The participating countries are: Lebanon, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Palestine, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, Syria, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Yemen, Australia and New Zealand.

The day after his arrival in Lebanon, the Continental official and lawyer Saadeh toured with a number of staff members of the organizing committee in the Fouad Chehab complex hall and inspected the preparations for hosting the tournament. He also inspected the hotels that will host the tournament and the hall that will host the meetings of the AFC Board of Directors and the General Assembly of the AFC tomorrow (June 1), provided that the official opening ceremony of the tournament will be held at five thirty in the afternoon on Thursday, June 2, in the presence of the tournament sponsor, official, military and sports activities and the sports family. and sports enthusiasts.
