The President of the Republic heads to Doha

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, left Nouakchott at dawn today, Saturday, for Doha (Qatar), to participate in the Fifth United Nations Summit on the Least Developed Countries.

His Excellency, the President of the Republic, upon his departure from Nouakchott International Airport, was bid farewell to the Tunisian mother by His Excellency the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ould Bilal Massoud, the Minister Counselor at the Presidency of the Republic, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, the Interior and Decentralization, the Commander of the Special Staff of the President of the Republic, the Assistant Director of the President’s Office, the Wali of Western Nouakchott, and the Deputy President of the Nouakchott region.

The President of the Republic is accompanied by an important delegation that includes:

Osman Mamodu Kan, Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors;
Abdel Salam Ould Mohamed Saleh, Minister of Petroleum, Mines and Energy;
– Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Director of the Office of the President of the Republic;
– Mohamed Ould Mohamedou, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Mauritania in Doha;
– Sidi Ould Mohamed Laghdaf, Permanent Representative of Mauritania to the United Nations;
Ahmed Ould Baha, aka Hamida, advisor to the Presidency of the Republic;
– Yahya Ould Kabd, charged with a mission at the Presidency of the Republic;
– Saleh Ould Dahmash, charged with a mission at the Presidency of the Republic;
– El Hassan Ould Ahmed, Director General of State Ceremonies;
and a delegation of businessmen headed by Mr. Mohamed Zine El Abidine Ould Cheikh Ahmed, President of the National Union of Mauritanian Employers.
