Putin stressed – according to what was reported by the Kyrgyz Aki Press news agency – that energy remains one of the main areas of bilateral cooperation.

Putin said: “We fully meet the fuel needs of consumers in Kyrgyzstan. Last year we exported about 1.2 million tons of fuel. The same amount will be supplied before the end of this year.”

President Putin stressed that fuel is provided on concessional terms free of customs duties on exports, resulting in a direct economic impact on the republic.
