The price of gold fell today, Sunday, in Egypt, by evening trading, and the gram decreased by 30 pounds at once, compared to its level in the middle of trading, according to Naguib, former Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, to Masrawy.
The price of a gram of gold today jumped by 150 pounds until the middle of trading, before it returned to decline by evening trading, at a value of 30 pounds.
Today, Sunday, the stock exchange launched a service for publishing gold prices in Egypt on its website, starting today, and announced the indicative price for a gram of 24 karat gold in the local markets.
According to the price announced on the stock exchange, the offer price for 24 caliber (i.e. buying from the consumer) recorded today 2652.08 pounds, while the asking price (selling to the consumer) recorded 2698.52 pounds.
Gold prices today
14 karat gold prices fell to 1613 pounds per gram.
And the price of 18 karat gold fell to 2074 pounds per gram.
The price of 21 carat gold fell to 2420 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 karat gold reached 2766 pounds per gram.

The price of the gold pound decreased to 19,360 pounds, and the price may vary from one trader to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.

Today is an official holiday in the global stock exchanges, to resume work tomorrow, Monday.
The global price of gold recorded about $2,010 at the end of trading on Friday, a decline of about 0.21% compared to its level at the end of trading on Thursday, according to Bloomberg agency data.
