The price of the cryptocurrency bitcoin has risen 2.2% to $30,035 since five o’clock yesterday evening, according to data compiled by Bloomberg News Agency today.
Bitcoin prices fluctuated at an average rate of 3.5 percent, as they are traded between $29,225 and $30,262.
It is now down 56% from its high on November 10 at $68,992.
Bitcoin lost 0.1% of its value in the past week and is down 35% so far this year.
