The average price of the euro stabilized today in Egypt, on the morning of Sunday, April 3, 2022, in the transactions of the Central Bank, and it declined in government banks.

The price of the euro today in Egypt

The average price of the European euro, according to the Central Bank of Egypt website, remained at about 20.16 pounds for purchase, and 20.27 pounds for sale.

While the price of the euro in the National Bank of Egypt, the largest government bank, fell to 20.11 pounds for purchase and 20.31 pounds for sale, compared to 20.19 pounds for purchase, and 20.51 pounds for sale yesterday.

The price was repeated in Banque Misr (governmental).

At the Commercial International Bank, the largest private bank in Egypt, the price of the euro recorded 20.18 pounds for purchase, 20.46 pounds for sale.

Yesterday, Egyptian Finance Minister Mohamed Maait said in a statement that his country plans to issue the first sovereign sukuk before the end of the current fiscal year, which ends in June 2022.

The minister added that Egypt is looking forward to entering the Japanese capital markets in new issuances during the next stage.

Earlier, Deputy Finance Minister Ahmed Kagok said that Egypt is considering setting the oil price between 80 and 85 dollars per barrel in the budget for the next fiscal year 2022-2023.

Egypt, the most populous country in the Arab world, is a net importer of oil despite having abundant natural gas reserves.

The price of the dollar and the pound sterling today in Egypt

The average price of the dollar in Egypt decreased, according to the Central Bank of Egypt data, to 18.21 pounds for purchase, 18.31 pounds for sale, compared to 18.22 pounds for purchase, and 18.32 pounds for sale, yesterday.

The average price of the pound sterling in the banking market, according to the Central Bank of Egypt, remained stable at about 23.87 pounds for purchase, and 24.01 pounds for sale.

The prices of the riyal, dirham and dinar today in Egypt

The average price of the Saudi riyal, according to the Central Bank of Egypt website, settled at about 4.85 pounds for purchase, and 4.88 pounds for sale.

In the National Bank of Egypt (the largest government bank in Egypt), the price of the Saudi riyal fell to 4.85 pounds for purchase, 4.88 pounds for sale, compared to 4.86 pounds for purchase, and 4.89 pounds for sale, yesterday.

The same prices were repeated in Banque Misr (governmental).

At the Commercial International Bank (the largest private bank in Egypt), the price of the Saudi riyal was 4.85 pounds for purchase, and 4.87 pounds for sale.

The average price of the UAE dirham in the banking market, according to the Central Bank of Egypt, remained stable at about 4.95 pounds for purchase, and 4.98 pounds for sale.

The average price of the Kuwaiti dinar, according to the Central Bank of Egypt’s website, also remained at about 59.86 pounds for purchase, and 60.34 pounds for sale.
