This came after the inauguration of the Tahour complex for cancer patients in the Onaizah governorate, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Emirate of Qassim, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Wazzan, the Governor of Onaiza Abdul Rahman Al-Saleem, and the Director-General of Health Affairs in Qassim Ayman Al-Raqiba.
He blessed the opening of the “Tahour” complex, which is concerned with cancer patients, and expressed his appreciation for supporting the establishment of headquarters and buildings for such associations, which are built and gather to cooperate in their construction, the good people of the region and the governorate.
The Prince of Al-Qassim was briefed on the medical services and equipment provided by the complex, including the neurological rehabilitation hall, the gym, physiotherapy, and other rehabilitative medical equipment.
The rhetorical ceremony prepared on this occasion witnessed the Society’s speech for the care and support of cancer patients, delivered by the Vice-President of the Society’s Council, Sami Al-Hamidi, in which he expressed his thanks to His Highness, the Prince of Qassim for his support of the Society’s programs and charitable work in the region in general, pointing to the stages the Society has gone through during the past years until it became The association has a dedicated headquarters that provides services to the community in the therapeutic, rehabilitation and psychological aspects in support of cancer patients, and the rest of the community members.
And the audience watched a documentary film reviewing the progress of the Tahour Association since its founding until the present time.
After that, Dr. Faisal Al-Anzi delivered a speech by the partners of the Tahour Association, in which he referred to the association’s role in supporting cancer patients in the moral and material fields. It has become a prominent partner for oncology patients, with their participation in the health authorities concerned with cancer patients, stressing that the psychological aspect of a cancer patient is of great importance, and this generous support did not stop at treatment, but rather shared the patients’ joy and happiness.
In a speech to the cancer fighters, Noura Al-Matari reviewed her experience after suffering from cancer, receiving treatment, and defeating the disease, with the support and support of her family, in addition to the role of the association and the medical team until it became more solid in facing this disease… health and material.
