“It is with sadness that we learn of the death of Etienne Daude following a road accident. An essential member of the Fort Boyard family, Etienne was a rope access technician there. All our thoughts are with his family, children and loved ones. We send them our sincere condolences,” the production company tweeted.
The production is currently in the preparations for the new season, which will be broadcast this summer on France 2.
