The Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro mouse: The queen of performance

The right tools can complement talent well. I’ve always thought that a mouse won’t significantly improve your gaming experience. My review of the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro mouse still made me question that claim. No, I didn’t become a player worthy of the professional electronic sports leagues, but I have to admit that I hit my target more often.

So light it seems to fly

We often have conceptions that we believe to be true. I always thought I preferred heavier mice and even added some weights in my current mouse.

So when I took the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro mouse out of its box, I immediately noticed that it weighed next to nothing. With its 63 grams, you practically wonder if it contains anything.

In the box, there is also the USB type A to USB-C wire to recharge it, the small wireless adapter and another adapter to install your wireless adapter on your desk where it will not be hung. Finally, you also have non-slip stickers that you can put on your mouse if you want. Personally, I don’t see the point of it.

Anonymous to the point of being banal

Its design is not particularly exciting. It even looks like a regular office mouse with no lights and only two side buttons. I’m totally aware that it doesn’t add anything to the performance of the mouse, but let’s say it surprises a little.

Despite its surprisingly anonymous appearance, the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro mouse is built with excellent quality plastic. So we can expect it to last a long time.

The two buttons on the front and the two on the side all offer very good sensitivity. You won’t have to wait when you push them down for the shot to go off. For its part, the caster has a satisfying click that makes it easy to stop when you want.

In terms of durability, the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro mouse should do well since the buttons offer a life cycle of 90 million double-clicks without problems.

In a class apart

It’s when you use the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro mouse for the first time that you immediately understand that you are in a class of your own. The movements are super precise but fast. In the time to say it, I was able to do games of Overwatch where I was hitting my target with the sniper Ana 5-10% more than usual.

To be sure it wasn’t just luck, I went back to my old mouse and as it did, my accuracy went down. That said, I admit to having lost some of this advantage by removing the weights from my other mouse. Like what, it can happen that we are mistaken.

In my opinion, a good part of the explanation why the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro mouse offers better performance is of course its weight, but that’s not all. Its sensor offers 30,000 dpi with 70G acceleration and 99.8% resolution accuracy.

The movements are therefore more accurate and always precise. When playing online, all these little advantages can mean the difference between a defeat and a victory.

Running out of battery in the middle of a game is any day’s nightmare. But with the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro mouse, that shouldn’t be a problem. The rechargeable battery provides 90 hours of battery life and the mouse can be used even when connected with the USB-C wire. Perfect for players who are a little more stressed.

A software that offers a lot of configuration

I was so curious to try out this mouse that I didn’t even bother to install the Razer Synapse 3 software the first few times I played.

By digging a little into it, we can calibrate the mouse with our mat, consult the remaining battery, or even modify the performance. There is also the way to configure shortcuts thanks to the Hypershift function.

The Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro mouse is king of performance

The Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro mouse: The queen of performance

Unsurprisingly, I practically wholeheartedly recommend the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro Mouse. In fact, its biggest flaw would be its rather significant price of $189.99. Let’s say it’s quite expensive for a mouse.

I’m not claiming that you will all get a significant improvement in your gaming performance. In fact, it made me notice that my current mouse isn’t as good as I thought it would be. That said, if the price doesn’t bother you, it’s a superb mouse that offers performance like I’ve rarely seen.

The Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro mouse is available now for $189.99 in black or white from the Razer website. Razer et Amazon.
