Dear compatriots,

It is with deep concern that I address you today, because our Republic faces an unprecedented threat. The betrayal of the Republic and the nation is manifest, and it is with a heavy responsibility that I stand by your side to face this unprecedented situation.
President Macky Sall has made the decision to blatantly violate our Fundamental Charter, an act that cannot be ignored. By entering politics, I took an oath to defend the Republic and the interests of the Senegalese people.

Today, faced with such a serious threat, it is our duty to take a stand and protect the values we hold dear. I appeal to all patriots and all Republicans, transcending political and ideological divisions: let’s face the villains. Macky Sall knows that his candidate Amadou Ba cannot win the presidential election. He is afraid of the consequences of his actions during all his years at the head of our country.
At these crucial times, it is essential that we put aside our differences to defend the integrity of our Constitution, which must never be treated like a doormat. It is imperative that we make our collective voice heard against this attack on our democratic principles.
Macky Sall cannot legitimately and legally claim the presidency of the Republic after April 2, 2024.
