Lionel Messi received this Thursday the visit of the Englishman David Beckham, with a past as a footballer in Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), in practice for the French team. The Parisian club published the photos of the former soccer player, the institution from which he retired from soccer in 2013 and current sports entrepreneur at the “Camp des Loges” Training Center.
“As part of his stay in Paris, David Beckham went to his former club’s training center to meet the Paris Saint Germain players,” published the official channels of the capital club.
Messi was photographed with Beckham and his Italian teammate Marco Verrati and later also integrated the group photo.
Beckham, a self-confessed fan of Messi, is also the owner of Inter Miami, of the United States MLS, and it is known that for years he has been trying to hire the captain of the Argentine national team. “My children are more Messi fans than mine,” Beckham said at the time when asked for a photo of one of his sons wearing the Argentina shirt and number 10.
Beckham, 47, played in the first half of 2013 at PSG and it was the last club of his long career, which included Manchester United, Real Madrid and AC Milan, among other teams.
