Remedy Entertainment announced just a couple of months ago that Max Payne 1 & 2 remake were still in the concept phase, although the developer has confirmed in a recent fiscal report that the development of this remake set is going from strength to strength and that it has already passed that phase. Of course, it should be noted that the project is still in a fairly early development phase, so we should not expect too much news until some time has passed.
“Max Payne 1 y 2 remake has progressed well and during the first quarter the project moved into the proof of concept phase,” said Tero Virtala, CEO of Remedy Entertainment. “The development team has worked efficiently on testing the key elements of what is Max Payne and in bring the game in high quality to current consoles and PCs. We hope that the project will continue to progress well and with that the size of the team will gradually increase towards the end of the year.”
What about Alan Wake 2 and Control 2?
In the same report, the director of Remedy Entertainment has provided an update on the developments of other highly anticipated titles of the company. “Alan Wake 2 It’s on its way to being a great game and has everyone at Remedy excited.
