After experiencing eventful months, the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance has announced that it is adopting a new, more agile cooperation model.

The alliance formed by car manufacturers Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi is evolving towards more efficient and more agile, project-oriented cooperation, the French group announced on Tuesday.

This organization will evolve by the end of the year from a globally standardized model towards project-oriented cooperation to enable faster and agile decisions, Renault said in a statement. The alliance’s purchasing organization will evolve into separate organizations focused on a project-by-project approach, he added.
