The results of the processing of the first protocols of the election of the governor of the Tomsk region appeared

Acting governor of the Tomsk region, candidate from the United Russia party Vladimir Mazur is leading by a wide margin in the early elections of the head of the region following processing the first protocols. This is reported on the website of the election commission.

Recall that on September 10 and 11, voting was held in the region in the early elections of the governor of the Tomsk region. As of 18:00 Sunday, total turnout by region amounted to 26.78%, not including remote voting. 195,618 people took part in the voting at the polling stations, 21,191 voted remotely.

Polling stations closed at 20:00 Sunday, following which the precinct commissions began counting votes.

After 21:00, the election commission announced the results of processing the first protocols. As of 21:22, following checking 8,635 valid ballots, 81.58% of the votes of voters participating in the elections in the region belong to Vladimir Mazur (United Russia), Acting Governor of the Tomsk Region. That’s 7,230 votes.

7.27% of the votes – 644 in number – at this stage was won by the deputy of the regional Duma Galina Nemtseva (“A Just Russia – Patriots – For Truth”), 5.9% (523 votes) – the deputy of the Tomsk Duma Andrey Petrov (KPRF), 2 ,69% or 238 votes – director of the law firm Viktor Grinev (“Russian Party of Pensioners for Social Justice”).
