Gold prices rose in the local markets during trading today, Tuesday, in light of the rise in ounces on the global stock exchange, due to the decline of the dollar, amid the markets anticipating the release of US inflation data tomorrow, Wednesday, and the release of producer price data, the day after tomorrow, Thursday, which will have an impact on the monetary policy directions of the US Federal Reserve. At this month’s meeting, it is expected to raise interest rates to a range of 5.25% to 5.5% while keeping them at that rate before they drop, perhaps in 2024.

Saeed Imbaby, executive director of the iSagha platform for online gold and jewelry trade, said that gold prices rose by 20 pounds in the local markets with the beginning of today’s trading, so that the price of a gram of 21 karat gold recorded the level of 2190 pounds, while the ounce rose by $ 11, to record the level of $1936. , after it touched the $1940 level.

He added that a gram of 24 karat gold recorded 2503 pounds, a gram of 18 karat gold recorded 1877 pounds, a gram of 14 karat gold recorded 1460 pounds, and a pound of gold recorded 17520 pounds.

And gold prices had declined by 5 pounds in the local markets during yesterday’s trading, Monday, as a gram of 21 carat gold opened trading at the level of 2175 and touched the level of 2160 dollars, and closed transactions at the level of 2170 pounds, while the ounce rose by the value of a dollar, as it opened transactions at the level of 1925 dollars. , and touched the $1914 level, and closed the transactions at $1926.

While gold prices declined in the local markets by 95 pounds, by 4.1% during the trading week ending last Saturday evening, while an ounce rose by $5, by 0.3% during the week ending last Friday evening.
