The deputy head of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, said Thursday that “the Kiev regime must be annihilated.”

Medvedev was wearing military uniform during his visit to the “Prodboy” military training ground in the Russian Volgograd region, accompanied by Deputy Defense Minister Nikolai Pankov.

Medvedev said: “The Kiev regime must be exterminated because it is a hornet’s nest, otherwise it will pose a constant threat from there.”

He added, “Ukraine is supported by the United States of America and Europe, which are on the path of war with Russia.”

He continued, “Our Ukrainian opponent is behaving as a terrorist… The terrorists must be eliminated… and the terrorist attacks must be responded to as harshly as possible.”

A few days ago, the Vice-President of the Security Council, who is also a former Russian president, revealed that the war in Ukraine might last for decades, and witness long periods of fighting interspersed with armistices.
