The Saudi Group approves dividends for the first and second halves of 7.5% each

The Saudi Group said in a statement on the Saudi Tadawul today, Sunday, that the total amount distributed for the first half of 2022 is about 566.1 million riyals, for the number of shares entitled to dividends, about 754.8 million shares.

She added that the share of the share from the distribution is 0.75 riyals, with a distribution ratio of 7.5% to the nominal value of the share.

The eligibility is for the shareholders who own shares at the closing of the market on Thursday, June 30, 2022, and who are registered in the company’s shareholders register with the Securities Depository Center Company “Edaa” at the end of the second trading day following the due date.

In a separate statement, the “Saudi Group” announced the Board of Directors’ decision to distribute 566.1 million riyals to shareholders for the second half of 2022, for a number of shares entitled to dividends, about 754.8 million shares.

The dividend per share is 0.75 riyals, with a distribution ratio of 7.5% to the nominal value of the share.

The eligibility is for the shareholders who own shares at the closing of the market on Thursday, April 14, 2022, and who are registered in the company’s shareholders register with the Securities Depository Center Company “Edaa” at the end of the second trading day following the due date.

The distribution date for the first and second halves of 2022 will be announced later.

The shareholders of Petrochem and the Saudi Group had agreed, at the general assembly meeting of each company, to the offer made by the Saudi Group to the Petrochem shareholders for the purpose of acquiring all the issued shares in Petrochem that are not owned by the Saudi Group.

The acquisition shall be in accordance with the provisions of Article (26) of the Merger and Acquisition Regulations by issuing 1.27 shares in the “Saudi Group” for each share in “Petrochem” in accordance with the terms and conditions of the implementation agreement related to the deal concluded between “Petrochem” and “The Saudi Group” on October 27, 2021 .
