Naim Al-Bakr, head of the competitions committee in the Saudi Football Federation, revealed that the Mohammed bin Salman Professional Cup League will continue during the Gulf Cup competitions next season.
Al-Bakr said in his speech to the “In the Goal” program: The league will not stop during the Gulf Cup, and we settled this matter with Herve Renard, the coach of the first team, as he informed us that he intends to participate in the Gulf Cup with the Olympic team, and requested the continuation of the league.
He continued: Next season is exceptional in all countries of the world, because the World Cup comes in its half and at the end of it, the Asian Cup 2023 will be held, and there is a need to end the season so that the team prepares in the best way.
On the final calendar, he replied: We asked the clubs in the workshop to express their views, and the final calendar will be issued after that.
