The Saudi national team defeats Mauritania in the Arab Youth Cup

The Saudi youth football team started the Arab Cup U-20 Championship, which opened on Wednesday in Saudi Arabia, by defeating its Mauritanian counterpart 2-0 in the first round of matches in the first group of the group stage of the competition.

The Saudi team won the first three points in its group journey, before the meeting of the UAE and Jordan youth teams, which will be held later on Wednesday night in the same round and in the same group.

The two goals of the match came in the first half, as Abdul Malik Al-Ayiri opened the scoring for the Saudi team early in the fifth minute, before his colleague Abdullah Radeef added the second goal in the 15th minute.
