The number of accidents with injuries in zone 30 has increased by 64% in ten years.
This Tuesday morning, the Walloon Minister for Road Safety, Valérie De Bue, inaugurated a new road marking systemdestined to be rolled out to all schools in the south of the country by 2023. Objective: constantly remind motorists that they are driving in a 30 zone and encourage them to slow down to limit risk of accidents.
It must be said that accidents occurring in zones 30 are particularly numerous in Belgium.
