On Saturday, February 17, Russian invaders shelled Kramatorsk and Slavyansk in the Donetsk region. In particular, in Kramatorsk the industrial zone and the residential sector were hit. Slavyansk also suffered from shelling. An educational institution in the city was destroyed.

This was announced by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Alexey Kuleba. The information was confirmed by the Donetsk Police Department.

According to preliminary data, a family of four, including two adults and two teenagers, was trapped under the rubble in Kramatorsk; one woman, born in 1977, died. Two houses were completely destroyed and more than twenty were damaged.

In Slavyansk, rockets hit a school. From the published photographs and videos, it can be argued that they are almost completely destroyed. In the same building there was a social canteen and an indestructibility point. According to preliminary data, there may be a person under the rubble at the scene of the fire.

Air bombs on Kupyansk

Russian occupation forces again attacked the city of Kupyansk in the Kharkov region. On February 17 at about 13:20 they carried out airstrikes on residential areas of the city. One of the aerial bombs hit a two-story apartment building, and they are looking for people under the rubble.

A number of civilian facilities were also destroyed and damaged in the city. According to preliminary data, the aggressor state dropped at least five aerial bombs on the city. Rescuers are working at the scene, clearing the rubble and looking for victims. The information will be updated.
