Valve has announced the return of the Diretide (“Rise of Darkness”) event in Dota 2. The event will be available in the second half of the Battle Pass 2022, which will run from November 3, 2022 to November 12, 2023.
As part of Diretide, players will once more have to collect sweets and gain points, which can later be exchanged for prizes. This time the event will be held “in a frosty variation”. Other details regarding the game mode, the developers have not reported. Previously, Valve held this event in 2012, 2013 and 2020.
Valve announced the event along with the release of Battle Pass 2022. The battle pass will be divided into two halves. As rewards for leveling up, you can get Arcana rarities on Faceless Void and Razor, as well as other prizes.
