The artist, Elham Shaheen, revealed, during a previous interview with the media, Lamees Al-Hadidi, on the “A Last Word” program, on the “on” channel, about the film that she regretted presenting during her career.

Elham Shaheen expressed her remorse for presenting the movie “Samira’s Death”, which was produced in 1985 and dealt with the suicide of the rising Moroccan singer Samira Melian in the house of the late musician Baligh Hamdi.

And she continued, “This movie I hate very much, and all I think about is the feeling that I want to torture myself, and I want to insult myself. I participated in the condemnation of musician Baligh Hamdi 30 years ago in the death of Samira Milian.”

And “Ilham” explained: “It was a big mistake, that I participated in the movie, and I didn’t have to do it, just because it had acting. I had to see and check the message that the movie was carrying, and there was no movie that had Baligh Hamdi’s hands.”

The late musician Baligh Hamdi was accused of being involved in the death of the rising artist Samira Melian, in his home, which forced him to travel outside Egypt for more than 6 years, and he was acquitted with investigations establishing that it was a suicide that he was not responsible for.

It is noteworthy that Elham Shaheen’s latest work on the cinema screen is the movie “Curfew”, which won 12 awards from the “Film Association” festival, and it is directed by Amir Ramses.
