Mr. Jinsuke Yogi from Kamichijimachi, Izumi City. He is the oldest male in the prefecture and is 107 years old, born on January 3, 1916 (Taisho 5). He is from Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture, and worked at an army factory in Osaka during the war.
After the war, Mr. Yogi moved to Izumi City, where he had visited as part of a pioneer group, and started farming. He was a farmer until he injured his back two years ago at the age of 105.
She has been living at a nursing care support center in the city for the past year, and on the 18th, Governor Shioda handed her a congratulatory letter and commemorative gift.
