A deadly car accident occurred on Kaohsiung National Highway 10 this (15th) morning. The 32-year-old driver surnamed Lin was driving a 56-year-old colleague surnamed Lan in a small truck. During the process of changing lanes, he chased and crashed into the slow-colliding car in front for unknown reasons. The passenger seat of the truck was directly “eating” into the rear of the truck, and the blue man lost signs of life on the spot. The police were reported to the scene and dispatched sabotage equipment to rescue Lan Nan. After being sent to the hospital for rescue, he was still unable to recover. Lin Nan, who was driving the car, was conscious and did not drink and drive. The cause of the accident is yet to be investigated.

The incident happened at 10:03 a.m. today. A man surnamed Lin was driving a pickup truck with Lan Nan driving west along National Highway No. 10. Passing the Yanchao section, at 20.5 kilometers west, he suspected that he had improperly changed lanes and ran into a parking lot on the right. The slow-crash car waiting in the auxiliary lane, the entire right half of the pickup truck was “cut” by the slow-crash car, the roof lifted off, and the ground was covered with broken car shells.

The police arrived at the scene, and the driver, Mr. Lin, suffered blunt trauma to his head and chest. The passenger seat of the pickup truck was severely deformed due to the violent impact. The blue man was caught in it and had no signs of life. The fire brigade used the wrecking machine to pull him out. Outside the car, two people were sent to Yida Hospital for treatment, but Lan Nan was still seriously injured and the rescue failed. According to the police investigation, Lin Nan did not drive under the influence of alcohol or fatigue. It was suspected that he was inadvertently chasing and colliding with a car. The accident road was reopened to traffic at 11:04 am.
