On Tuesday, volunteers from the Russian Freedom Legion, the Russian Volunteer Corps and the Siberian Battalion announced that they had entered Russian territory and took action in the Belgorod and Kursk regions, which border Ukraine.
Later on Wednesday, they instructed local authorities to begin evacuating residents because plans to destroy the Russian military infrastructure there.

Russian volunteer forces fighting for Ukraine – the Legion of Freedom of Russia, the Russian Volunteer Corps and the Siberian Battalion – urged civilians to flee Belgorod and Kursk on Wednesday, threatening to launch large-scale attacks on military installations in the cities on Russia’s border with Ukraine.
In a statement posted on the messaging platform Telegram, the legion forces said that dozens of innocent people, mostly women and children, are killed every day due to shelling from Belgorod, Ukraine.
“The shelling of Ukraine from the territory of Belgorod must be stopped!” Taking this into account, we are forced to fire at the military positions located in the cities of Belgorod and Kursk,” volunteer soldiers explained their further actions.
