According to a report issued by the Egypt Gold Price website, which specializes in the prices of gold jewellery, the price of 21 karat gold, the most widespread, recorded about 1010 pounds for sale and 1020 pounds for purchase.
The price of 24 carat, the highest category, was about 1154 pounds for sale and 1166 pounds for purchase.
The price of a gram of 18 carat gold, the middle among the gold bullets, reached about 866 pounds for sale and 874 pounds for purchase.
And the price of a gram of 14 karat gold, the lowest, was about 673 pounds for sale and 680 pounds for purchase.
The price of the gold pound reached about 8080 pounds for sale and 8160 pounds for purchase and an ounce of gold about 35.9 thousand pounds for sale and 36.254 thousand pounds for purchase and a kilo of gold about 1.154 million pounds for sale and 1.2 million pounds for purchase.
