The star-studded evening planned for this evening is canceled

2023-11-21 19:19:00

The “Starry Evening” activity organized by the Charlevoix Astronomy Club scheduled for this evening, Tuesday, November 21, is canceled and will not be postponed until tomorrow, November 22, due to expected snow precipitation.

According to the City of Baie-Saint-Paul, this decision was taken because this evening the sky will be overcast and therefore unfavorable for observing the starry sky.

Starry evenings will resume in April 2024 at the Charlevoix Astronomical Observatory. A conference on astronomy will still be presented on November 29 at the René-Richard library. More information will follow regarding this conference.
