The turquoise-green federal government has announced the news several times in recent months. At the Summer Council of Ministers on Tuesday, she repeated: 100 positions for panel doctors will be created by the end of the year. What was actually new, however, was the announcement that doctors should be lured to a panel doctor post with a “starting bonus” of up to 100,000 euros. This monetary incentive is a first step: After all, setting up or taking over a medical practice costs a lot. With the funding, the federal government hopes that positions that have repeatedly not been filled will become more attractive.
