The grill weighs 19 kg, heats up to 260 °C and is battery powered – an excellent device for a picnic.

Exit Outdoor has introduced a compact Fire ‘n’ Go grill for cooking in the most remote places. It folds down to become small and light, and is battery powered, writes New Atlas.

The company removed the pellet hopper from under the lid and placed it at the front of the grill. The granules are fed into the fanned flame using a rotating feeder located below. At the same time, the digital control system regulates the speed of the feeder and fan to maintain the set temperature.

When the hopper is removed, the entire area under the lid can be reserved for cooking. The top rack adds 50% more space, increasing the total cooking area to 1852 sq. cm. This is more than competitors.

To keep the portable device from being bulky, Exit created a foldable design that uses four folding corner legs and a top chassis. As a result, the transport dimensions of the grill are reduced to 44x55x25 cm, or 59.5 liters. This makes it easier to pack all your other camping gear.

Another useful feature on the Fire ‘n’ Go is its battery power. The grill comes with two 2.0Ah USB-C rechargeable batteries, each providing up to 10 hours of grilling time. Unlike the bulky external power supplies required to run battery-free electric pellet grills, the compact Exit unit slots right into the side of the grill body.

Fire ‘n’ Go weighs 19.6 kg. The grill is made from a combination of 304 stainless steel kitchen components and durable structural steel, and features rubber coated handles for easy portability.

When it comes to cooking, the Fire ‘n’ Go has an adjustable temperature range from 71 to 260°C. This allows you to do everything from slow barbecuing to charcoal cooking. It also comes with a meat thermometer that connects to the electronic panel and displays the readings on an LED display.

The retail price of a portable grill will be $499 (~46,000 rubles).

Earlier, another startup presented an unusual gadget that combines a flashlight, a lighter and a tripod. The flexible device is useful on the go and at home.
