Consequence: the site management announced five new cancellations of work sessions between Thursday 17 and Friday 18 March (tours A and B, night shift). The additional work session scheduled for Saturday March 19 is also cancelled.
Concern for temporary workers and the night shift
“If the situation continues, it might impact the temporary workers, who would be thanked, and perhaps the night shift, which would be eliminated,” worries Benoît Vernier (CFDT). “In view of high inflation and rising energy costs, we are asking management to organize a meeting with the representative trade unions in order to better support long-term partial activity and minimize the impact on salaries. »
Management must make a new update on supplies on Friday March 18.
