This Sunday, March 19, at 6:00 p.m., as part of the 40-year celebrations, Latina Televisión will once again broadcast the successful and well-remembered series “The storyteller”.
This British production, initially broadcast in 1988, reached our country in the 1990s on the Frecuencia Latina signal, now called latin televisionand quickly won the hearts of Peruvians.

The series was directed by the American Jim Henson and starred the English actor John Howt, who plays the narrator of the stories on which each of the episodes revolves. He gives the stories of him while he sits in front of a fireplace next to his dog.
As you remember, this film recounts mythical European tales through a combination of acting by real actors and puppets. “Hans the hedgehog”, “The Soldier and Death”, “Juan without fear”, “When I lacked a story”, “The Three Ravens” y “The Heartless Giant” These are some of the chapters that have remained impregnated in the memory and hearts of the many viewers.
What will be the first episode to air?
“Hans the hedgehog”, adapted from a German short story. The story revolves around a farmer’s wife, who was so eager to have a child that she didn’t care what she looked like as long as her wish was fulfilled. Her unpredictable fortune made her give birth to a hybrid between human and hedgehog. She was called Hans, and her mother loved him dearly; however, his father was ashamed of him in front of everyone.
