The strike movement continues in the TEC Liège-Verviers depots this Tuesday

The strike that began Monday morning at TEC Liège-Verviers following a new attack is expected to continue this Tuesday, indicates the Walloon public transport company on its website. An evaluation is scheduled for early this followingnoon. The company’s 11 repositories are expected to remain blocked.

In total, more than a hundred bus lines are not served.

Meetings took place between the unions and the police of Liège and Seraing. Commitments were made for real monitoring by the police during this type of incident as well as an increased presence of the police inside the buses themselves. Similar meetings are planned for this Tuesday with the police zones of Herstal and Beyne-Fléron-Soumagne. It is at the end of these that a new staff meeting will be organized to decide whether to stop or continue the movement.

Generally, when a strike ends, it is not until the next day that all lines run normally once more.

Find all the lines impacted on the TEC website.
