The strongest passport belongs to the UAE, while India ranks 69th

India ranks 69th in the world’s most powerful passport index. UAE is the first. 193 countries are on the list. The list was released by Arten Capital, a global citizenship and financial advisory firm. According to the index, Indians can visit 24 countries without a visa. 48 countries can get visa. 126 countries require a visa to visit. Other countries along with India are Gambia, Ghana, Uzbekistan and Tanzania. With a UAE passport you can visit 121 countries without a visa. 59 countries can get visa on arrival.

Visa is required only to visit 18 countries. The index is prepared on the basis of information provided by the government, crowdsourcing and research data from reliable sources. Ten European countries namely Germany, Sweden, Finland, Luxembourg, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland and South Korea are on the second position in the list. The United States ranks third along with Denmark, Belgium, Portugal, Norway, Poland, Ireland and New Zealand. At 97th, Afghanistan is the country with the weakest passport. Post-pandemic travel is difficult, but global travel is increasing and the value of passports is rising. Artan informed that this may continue next year as well.
