The student got out of her mother’s car and died when she was hit by a train while crossing the track

Kannur: A Plus One student was hit by a train and died while crossing the railway track to board the school bus from her mother’s car. The incident took place at 7.45 am on Saturday morning in Kannur. Nandita, the daughter of Kishore-Lizzy couple, died.

Nandita is a Plus One student of Kannur Kakkad Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. The Kannur-bound Parasuram Express hit the boy and threw him. The student came in the car with her mother in the morning to board the school bus and saw the railway gate closed, got out of the car and crossed the railway track. The accident took place while he was walking to the place where the school bus regularly arrives.

Eyewitnesses say that the student crossed the track but the bag got stuck in the train and the accident took place. The accident happened in front of the mother. Locals immediately rushed the boy to AKG Hospital and Mims Hospital, but his life could not be saved. Lizzie’s husband had died earlier from an illness.
