The Electoral Commission of the Congolese Football Federation (Fecofoot) held a press conference on Tuesday July 12 in Brazzaville with a view to renewing the management team of Fecofoot.

The filing of applications for the election of the president of the Congolese Football Federation (Fecofoot), will take place from July 12 to 27, announced the Electoral Commission of the said federation, this Tuesday, July 12. The Fecofoot Electoral Commission, proceeded to the official launch of the call for candidates for this electoral deadline. This will be closed on July 27. For potential candidates, you must be Congolese; be at least 25 or over 70 years old when filing the files; reside in the Republic of Congo; present a list of fifteen candidates for the various positions, among others. Didier Potard Mouhoussa, president of the Electoral Commission of Fecofoot, wanted to reassure public opinion on the eligibility criteria. In his remarks, the president of the electoral commission of Fecofoot, indicated that the electoral code will be the same as that of 2018, specifying that the decisions of the electoral commission were taken in accordance with the International Federation of Football Association (Fifa ) and the African Football Confederationl (Cif). During this meeting, the Electoral Commission of Fecofoot also presented the chronogram of activities relating to this vote. It shows in particular that from July 28 to 30, the electoral commission will examine the candidate files before their publication on August 3. The electoral campaign will take place from August 17 to 31.
