Along with Tovino, Soubin Shahir plays another important role in the film. Nadikar Thilakam is scripted by Suvin Somasekaran after the movie Star. Albi is moving the camera. Music is composed by Yaksan Neha.

The character poster of Maniyan has been released. Tovino is portraying three different characters in the film namely Maniyan, Ajayan and Kunhikelu.

The film is being made entirely in 3D. The crew members say that Ajay’s 2nd Moshanam is a very important film for action and adventure. Each story line is presented in the film in three different periods.

Director Ashiq Abu shared the character video of Neela Velicham the other day. ‘Happy birthday to our dear Basheer and Tovino Thomas who are celebrating their birthdays tomorrow,’ Aashiq captioned the video. Tovino’s birthday is also on January 21, which is the birthday of Malayalam writer Vaikom Muhammad Basheer.

Neelavelicham is a remake of the 1964 classic movie Bhargaveenilayam, directed by Vincent Master and starring Madhu, Premnaseer, Vijayanirmala, Adoor Bhasi, Kuthiravattam Pappu, scripted by Vaikam Muhammad Basheer.
