The Swiss women’s team will play its last match at home as part of the qualification for the World Cup in Lausanne.
The Swiss selection will host Moldova at the Tuilière stadium on Tuesday 6 September. The kick-off time has not yet been set.
With two wins in the away match in Croatia (September 2) and against Moldova, Switzerland would be guaranteed to participate at least in the play-offs. If Italy were to lose a point in their last two meetings, the Swiss could then finish first in their group. They would thus win a direct qualification for the final round of the World Cup in the summer of 2023 in Australia and New Zealand.
