Amata KK has decided to release a PS VR2 version of the VR action-adventure game The Tale of Onogoro. The PlayStation VR version will also be released this winter.
The Tale of Onogoro was created by producer/director Hiromichi Takahashi and the development team behind the VR game Escape-Room Last Labyrinth. Last Labyrinth has received numerous awards at gaming and VR events around the world, due to its unique VR experience.
The Tale of Onogoro combines traditional Japanese culture and steampunk elements to create a unique universe. The player travels with Haru, a Japanese high priestess solving sprawling puzzles and battling giant beast-like beings called “Kami”.
This game was first released on the Meta Quest Store on March 17, 2022. It was released on Steam on
September 28, 2022, on PICO Store on October 20, 2022 and on Meta Rift Store on December 9, 2022.
The game will be available on PlayStation VR/VR2 in the future.
