Afnan Fouad was born on July 28, 1990 in the city of Riyadh, and her origins are from the Al-Baha region.
She began her artistic work in 2011, through her participation as a new face in an episode of the series “Tash Ma Tash 18”. She is a graduate of a Bachelor of Media, and also holds a course in Dramatic Arts from the Manhattan Academy, in New York City, USA.

Afnan Fouad talked about the method of choosing her roles, and said in a press interview, “I choose my roles with care and accuracy, and in a different spirit in every work, because I am looking for diversity in my work, and I strive to develop my performance through study and experience and talent.
She added: “I hope to embody new roles that represent an addition to my artistic career, and that express models and personalities that already exist in society, especially in this period that is witnessing a cultural, artistic, dramatic and cinematic revival in Saudi Arabia.”
Afnan Fouad also talked about presenting boldness in her work, and said: “I am offering something for the sake of society and a bold role in the thesis, not for stardom or something else.”
And she continued, “I am bold as long as there is daring, not just imagination and a show for stardom, and in Saudi Arabia there is a ceiling for raising topics, and I am in line with the customs and traditions of society and I do not violate them.”
Saudi Drama
Afnan Fouad praised the strong and clear dialogue of Saudi drama at the Gulf level, but she indicated in a press interview that what she lacks to be able to succeed more is to get rid of paralysis. She said, “You need enough time to progress further and release new producers and writers, to broadcast different ideas and series than usual.”

Her interest in sports Afnan Fouad revealed her relationship with sports, and said in a press interview: “My relationship with sports is excellent in terms of practicing it as a hobby, and I am always keen on doing aerobics, yoga and swimming, and I love all kinds of sports, the most important of which is local and European football, and I follow sports activities and events around the world.”
