The TC will have 55 drivers for the premiere of the contest on Sunday at the Viedma racetrack, a figure that became the record of the last beginnings of the popular category, which is considered the most important of motorsports in Argentina.
Last year in Viedma there were 50 those who participated in the first date, which was the most outstanding of the last Times up to 55 confirmed for the new event, despite several notable absences and the debut of nine riders from TC Pista.
The ACTC confirmed that 55 pilots signed up to participate in the inaugural test of the TC at the Viedma circuit, as has been the case for a long time, although it could there will be one less because Gabriel Ponce de León would drop out due to budget problems.
In the long-awaited list of participants, 9 drivers who arrived from TC Pista and several absences stand out, for example those of the four-time champion Agustín Canapino, who joined the IndyCar, and Juan P. Gianini, among others, apart from several who withdrew .
Hugo Mazzacane, president of the ACTC, highlighted on several occasions that in the new contest he hopes to bring together a minimum of 60 pilots in some test, something that seems possible with the 55 that confirmed in Viedma, despite the fact that a few have not yet defined their continuity in the category.
