A 16-year-old boy was seriously injured on Thursday afternoon during agricultural work in Ronchères, east of Château-Thierry. The first elements of the gendarmerie’s investigation are as follows: the victim allegedly forgot to put the handbrake on when getting off the tractor he was driving.
So that once out of the cabin, said tractor rolled over his leg. The emergency services were called (firefighters and SAMU), as well as the gendarmes. Thursday evening, a possible leg fracture was mentioned. The young boy was transported to the hospital. The gendarmerie also seized the labor inspectorate as required by the procedure in such cases.
