Harry didn’t want to be in the same room as Camilla
A member of the British royal family sees it differently: Queen Camilla. The 76-year-old is said to be “outraged” by the prince’s “behavior,” at least according to the British media.
Which is not surprising because Harry is said to have expressly avoided one person during his short visit home. At least that’s what journalist Petronella Wyatt claims in the Zeitung «The Telegraph»:

Camilla dismisses Harry’s visit as a PR move
Harry flew eleven hours to be able to see his father for just under 45 minutes. This short period of time is said to have been enough to permanently anger his stepmother.
“Her Majesty was angry that Harry flew in from his posh home in California without getting permission from the palace – and he came with a certain attitude,” a royal insider is quoted as saying in the National Enquirer.
Although father and son only met briefly, the king is said to have been overwhelmed by Harry’s return. It is said that Charles was visibly emotional after the meeting.
Harry, on the other hand, was “grateful” for the opportunity to visit his father at such short notice. Meanwhile, Camilla is said to have dismissed the visit as a PR measure.

According to media reports, Charles and Camilla’s departure to Sandringham was delayed because the king wanted to wait for his son.
Harry’s demand to be able to speak to his father in private further “outraged” Camilla, the insider continued. The Queen also “left no doubt that Harry is no longer wanted in the royal family.”
Over the past few years, Camilla has repeatedly had to endure malice and ridicule from Harry. That’s why she couldn’t wait to show it to him.
