Young people aged 12 to 17 will be able to receive a third dose of the vaccine against COVID-19, as recommended by the Comité sur l’immunisation du Québec.
The booster dose is particularly recommended for adolescents who are at higher risk of complications related to COVID-19 and for those living in closed collective settings. All young people who wish can also receive the booster dose. A minimum interval of three months should be respected between the second and third dose.
Young people aged 12 to 17 will be able to reserve their place on Clic Santé starting tomorrow, February 19.
Remember that the third dose is recommended since it provides better protection against the Omicron variant.
