It is noteworthy that the accused, Khaled Ferjani, 38 years old, an English language teacher at the Al-Azhari Girls’ Institute in Al-Huraishi, Fayoum Center, and a resident of the Queen’s Tower, Dallah neighborhood, turned himself in to the security services in mid-July 2019.
He admitted that he killed his wife and four children in the apartment because there were differences between him and others due to excavations for antiquities in one of the areas in the Fayoum Center district, and that he received threats to rape and kill his wife and children if he did not abandon that, so he killed them using a cleaver.
Immediately after the security services moved to the scene of the incident, it became clear that the wife and four children were dead and had various injuries throughout the body. A report of the incident was drawn up, and the Public Prosecution office was notified to initiate investigations, which ordered him to be referred to criminal trial.
The case was referred to the Fayoum Criminal Court, which ruled the death penalty for the accused, Khaled Ferjani, 38 years old, an English language teacher, for killing his wife and children using a machete to carry out his crime.
The accused died before the execution of the death sentence against him inside the Minya Fever Hospital, as a result of his high blood pressure that led to an explosion in the arteries, after he was transferred from the Minya public prison to the hospital in an attempt to save him so that he breathed his last before the execution of the death sentence against him.
