Square Enix announced on Nintendo Direct today (9th). The trial version of its game “Forked Road Traveler II” “Prologue Trial Version” has been released on PS and Switch today, and the Steam version will be released on the 10th.
In the “prologue trial version”, you can play the beginning of the story within three hours. Like the official version, you can freely choose any character from the “eight protagonists” and start the game. The storage data of the trial version can be directly inherited to the official version.
“Forked Road Traveler II” is still created by the original development team of the first generation. The previous work has nothing to do with this work in terms of story and characters. The eight characters on stage are swordsman, dancer, businessman, scholar, thief, priest, hunter and pharmacist. In addition, the biggest feature of this work is that the change of day and night will affect the protagonists who hold different map commands.
“Forked Road Traveler II” is expected to be released on PS4, PS5, and Switch on February 24, 2023, and on Steam on February 25.
