The Tutultepeque Basic Health Unit is inaugurated in Nejapa 2024-04-30 21:16:22

This day, Government authorities, through the Ministry of Health (Minsal), inaugurated the facilities of the new Tutultepeque Basic Health Unit, in the Nejapa district of San Salvador Oeste, which will benefit Salvadorans from 13 surrounding villages.

«We have seen how the deficiency in the health system, in different areas, but specifically in the first level of care, has been accumulating for years; “And what a way to express that commitment to the first level of care than to contribute to modernization, of course in the most distant areas of the territory and where there is the greatest need,” said the Minister of Health, Francisco Alabi.

The total investment for the Tutultepeque Basic Health Unit is more than $370,000. Some of the areas of the health unit are: preparation, pharmacy, medical offices, mother-child office, healing room, vaccination, respiratory therapy, reception of sample collection.
